Basic Flogging
When:
Sat, 01 Apr 2000,
2pm-6pm
Location and price:
The Wet Spot, $20
Ever wanted to learn how to flog someone in a way that is safe and fun? Ever tried but thought that there might be some basic skills that would help improve your scenes? Great! We can help!
We'll touch on basic SM skills and safety, talk about and demonstrate basic technique, and help everyone learn the building blocks of flogging. "Hands-on" learning will be a big part of this experience. Everyone will pair off, and one person will act as a 'practice dummy', wearing heavy clothing for protection (leather jackets are great!), while the other person tries what they've just been taught. By the end of the class, you should have some new skills to use at home or at a fetish party afterwards!
This workshop is open to all genders and sexual orientations. No undressing will be required, and the pairing off for practice should be casual and friendly. Please bring some piece of heavy clothing to wear for protection during the practice portion. If you have a flogger of some sort, we would ask that you bring that as well. (We'll bring a few extra, but learning the feel of your own is best, and our collections are limited.) Be aware that this is real exercise; starting out appropriately fed and hydrated will improve your experience.
If you are not a Wet Spot / Center for Sex Positive Culture member, and don't know where it is, please let us know when you register, and we'll give you directions.
